The Vision: The aesthetic objective was to manifest a high-octane, cross-generational collision within the frame of a cinematic Las Vegas penthouse. We sought to move beyond the standard remote-location broadcast by materialising a space that felt like a private, neon-soaked event rather than a televised segment. The narrative focused on bridging the gap between Rod Stewart’s rock-and-roll pedigree and DNCE’s kinetic pop energy, evoking a sense of late-night exclusivity grounded in the structural reality of the Vegas skyline.
The Manifestation: NeonBlack provided the creative direction for this location-based performance, anchoring the penthouse environment with an illuminated dance floor that echoed the city’s electric heritage. We treated the penthouse as a three-dimensional stage, utilising the architectural glass and the iconic desert-noir backdrop to amplify the lens-first vibrancy of the shoot. The spatial choreography was designed for fluidity, with the lighting sculpted to mimic the saturated, artificial hues of a perpetual midnight. By integrating the technical elements directly into the party’s physical DNA, the production felt entirely embedded in the location, allowing the artists to inhabit a tactile, high-stakes narrative.
The Result: The performance realised a clean, cohesive fusion of two distinct musical eras. By leading the creative direction, we manifested a visual identity that was both nostalgic and contemporary, capturing a celebratory energy that translated with clarity through the lens. The result was a polished and effective broadcast moment, demonstrating our capability to transform a specific geographical landmark into a functional, high-impact stage.
