Blink 182
Kings of the Weekend, Las Vegas

The Vision: Following the success of the California world tour, the objective was to manifest the chaos and irreverence of a high-energy punk show within the refined intimacy of the Pearl Theater at the Palms. The narrative sought to embrace the "Kings of the Weekend" ethos—translating the spirit of a high-velocity club gig into a definitive Las Vegas residency. The intent was to create an environment that felt both monumental and personal, allowing the band’s trademark humour to lead while grounding the performance in a vivid, high-impact structural reality.
The Manifestation: NeonBlack provided the creative direction, production, and lighting design, purposefully omitting video to prioritise a more tactile, physical presence. We sculpted the stage with a wall of light and a Vegas-inspired scenic backdrop, creating a canvas that felt both nostalgic and immediate. The spatial choreography was defined by a relentless barrage of pyrotechnics - jets of fire and streamers - that mirrored the percussive urgency of the set. By stripping back the digital layers, we materialised a lens-first vibrancy through pure illumination and atmospheric power, ensuring the energy in the room remained visceral and unfiltered.
The Result: The residency realised a landmark moment for the band, establishing the city’s first true pop-punk residency. By leading the creative and technical narrative, we manifested an atmosphere that balanced the band’s legacy with the demands of a modern Vegas spectacle. The result was a successful fusion of high-intensity light and uninhibited fun, proving our capability to scale a high-octane touring identity into a permanent, world-class residency.
