Pharrell Williams
Dear G I R L Tour

The Vision: The aesthetic objective was to materialise the vibrant, pop-maximalism of the G I R L era into a tangible touring environment. Collaborating with Creative Director Phi Hollinger, we sought to curate a space that celebrated femininity and kinetic energy through a sophisticated, high-definition lens. The narrative was built on a foundation of clean lines and bold colour theory, intended to evoke a celebratory atmosphere that could adapt seamlessly across the tour’s various global iterations.
The Manifestation: NeonBlack led the lighting and production design, developing a modular structural reality that evolved across the tour’s global footprint. We sculpted the stage using high-saturation palettes and clean scenic interventions that complemented Hollinger’s creative direction. The spatial choreography was designed to frame the performance with architectural precision, ensuring every moment was optimised for a lens-first vibrancy. By treating the lighting as a physical extension of the choreography, we manifested a dynamic environment that felt both polished and relentlessly energetic.
The Result: The collaboration realised a definitive visual identity for the tour, manifesting a world that felt as iconic as the music itself. By maintaining structural rigour across multiple tour iterations, we ensured the Dear G I R L aesthetic remained uncompromised regardless of the venue scale. The resulting atmosphere was one of refined pop spectacle, proving our capability as creative co-pilots in translating a global superstar’s vision into a physical, high-impact reality.
